Yamaha's Factory Automation Section at Motek will showcase technologies to accelerate robotic processes, including on-the-fly visual inspection and alignment.

The on-the-fly vision system is based on technologies perfected in the field of precision surface mount electronics assembly to inspect and align picked parts at full speed, significantly reducing the cycle time of processes such as palletizing, depalletizing and mechanical assembly. The demonstration runs on the YK-400XR Scara robot and highlights the differences of the high-speed system compared to conventional vision, realizing potential time savings and productivity benefits.

Visitors will also be able to find out about the company's linear, multi-axis and Scara robots as well as Cartesian robots, which are available in various sizes and configurations including special cleanroom variants. as
