Embedded World 2020

Andreas Mühlbauer,

Good prospects for Embedded World

Every year, Embedded World in Nuremberg provides a forum for developers, manufacturers and users from all areas of embedded components, systems and software. This year, the focus is on IoT, intelligent systems and security.

In the run-up to Embedded World, which is once again expecting guests from all over the world in Nuremberg from 25 to 27 February, the organizers are confident. This is because the exhibition space booked for 2019 has long since been exceeded and around 1,150 exhibitors and 30,000 visitors are expected. This is why Nürnberg Messe has also extended the event by one hall. In the seven exhibition halls, suppliers will showcase products and solutions from the fields of software and hardware. This includes tools, services, components and systems through to system and application software.

The motto of this year's trade fair and conference is "Connecting Embedded Intelligence". This year's key topics include the Internet of Things, intelligent systems, software engineering, energy efficiency, functional safety and security. The two conferences, the electronic displays Conference and the embedded world Conference, will once again take place at the same time as the trade fair.

Conferences provide comprehensive specialist knowledge

The motto of this year's embedded world conference is "Connecting Embedded Intelligence". The conference is thus focusing on one of the key trends in the industry, whose technologies are developing rapidly.

Human-machine interfaces in the form of touchscreens in conjunction with embedded hardware have become important components of modern production facilities in recent years and have become indispensable in this environment. The electronic displays conference will therefore address topics such as OLEDs and touch displays. On February 26 and 27, developers, scientists and users of electronic displays will also focus on current display technologies such as LCD, micro-LEDs, touch, optical bonding, display systems and automotive displays.

Expert panels on embedded vision, safety & security and embedded intelligence will also be held as part of the trade fair, providing trade visitors with top-class expert knowledge and the opportunity to actively participate in the discussions.
