GFT Technologies acquires software provider

GFT Technologies has announced the acquisition of the software provider in - integrated information systems. With effect from January 1, 2020, GFT has acquired the Constance-based company with around 40 employees.

With this acquisition, GFT aims to expand its expertise in the areas of store floor transparency and process integration for industrial clients. "in-GmbH is the ideal addition to our industrial portfolio," says Michael Hecker, Director Industry at GFT. "Our growth strategy aims to provide our clients with a complete offering for the implementation of their digitalization strategy. To this end, we want to become even stronger in the horizontal networking of business processes and provide more of our own scalable software products."

The company, which had already entered into a strategic partnership with GFT in summer 2019, will continue to operate independently. Siegfried Wagner, founder of in-GmbH, will continue to act as Managing Director.

The acquisition accelerates GFT's current industrial offensive, builds up further expertise and opens up a new location, it said.
