M40 with quick-release fastener
Robustness and compact design: these are the characteristics of the M40 connector series from Hummel. The manufacturer of electromechanical components from Denzlingen has revised the tried-and-tested M40 connector; it is now also available with the Twilock-S quick-release fastener.
This variant is pluggable with the Speedtec locking system. A minimal twisting movement is all it takes to reliably lock the connection. This is advantageous in confined spaces or environments that are difficult to access. Safety is guaranteed at all times; the quick-release fastener is vibration-proof and complies with protection classes IP67 and IP 69K when plugged in.
The angled appliance connector has a new look. Its design has been given a facelift, making it even more compact and robust. The overall height has been reduced compared to the previous model. In addition, the new M40 bracket has a stable rotating mechanism; this allows the cable outlet to be aligned to the respective requirements within a radius of around 330 degrees. The plug adapts to the ambient conditions. The designers paid particular attention to plug assembly - which is why the new variant is now easy to handle when assembling. The plugs are suitable for high-current applications and are preferably used on powerful motors. There is a choice of six and eight-pole variants, as well as various designs. pb
