Compact plug-in
The Omnimate BLF 3.5 signal conductor connectors with push-in connection technology from Weidmüller meet the demand for compact devices that require precisely fitting connection technology for devices in industrial automation technology.
The PCB connectors are particularly flat with a height of nine millimetres - 3.5 millimetre pitch. BLF 3.5 is suitable for applications where a high packing density is required. The push-in connection system offers a current carrying capacity of 17.5 amps and a rated voltage of 320 volts, and accepts solid and flexible conductors with and without ferrules from 0.14 to 1.5 square millimetres (IEC) and 26 to 16 AWG (UL). The conductors can be easily inserted into the terminal point without tools. Fine-stranded conductors without ferrules are connected by opening the terminal point - press the push button.
The push-in connection with its functional release and locking levers supports fast, reliable handling during installation and maintenance. The safety rib prevents unintentional pressing of the pusher when plugging in. The plug connector has two fastening flanges so that it can be fastened either via the release latch or using a classic screw connection. The strain relief is used to pull the plug in tight installation situations and can also be used to secure conductors with cable ties. as
