Clamps the train
Icotek has added the SKZ shield clamp to its range of EMC shield clamps for the safe discharge of high-frequency interference. It offers additional integrated strain relief.
It is generally fitted over the outer cable sheath and thus protects the cable shield, as this is not mechanically designed for tensile forces; this could also damage the individual wires underneath. The new shield clamp can be mounted on top hat rails, busbars, C-rails and with a screw on mounting plates. The clamping ranges are between three to eight and four to 13.5 millimetres. Icotek offers various other space-saving and installation-friendly EMC solutions, such as the MSKL series with larger clamping ranges, which can be mounted directly on top-hat rails, busbars and C-rails. pb
