Binder: M12 as plug and socket
Binder is launching a new field-assembly M12 connector on the market. The 813 series connectors are available as cable and flange versions.
The power connector is suitable for power solutions in many industries whose intelligent factories are increasingly switching to automation technology. The field-attachable M12 is available as a plug and socket. It has L-coding (DC) in accordance with IEC 610776-2-111 for screw terminal connections. The pre-assembled connectors are available with a standard strand length of 200 millimetres. Other length variants are available on request.
Thanks to its 4+FE contacts with gold contact surfaces, the M12 connector is suitable for up to 16 amps. The rated voltages are up to 63 volts DC. With an enclosing plastic housing and a zinc die-cast retaining ring, the new M12 connectors in the 813 series meet the requirements of protection class IP68 when connected. as
