Binder is launching an extension to its 718 series with the M8 cable connector, which can be configured to customer specifications.
Customers can have the cable connector configured according to individual specifications, which is why this M8 variant is suitable for complex applications such as drives, control systems, sensors and automation technology.
The straight M8 connectors with a screw cap and five brass contacts with a gold-plated contact surface and a PVC or PUR cable (two or five meters long) are available as plugs and sockets and meet the requirements of protection class IP67 when connected. The rated current is three amperes, the rated voltage is 30 volts and the mechanical mating life is over 100 cycles.as
