Open Industry 4.0 Alliance

Alliance for networking

The Open Industry 4.0 Alliance will be represented at SPS for the first time. Visitors will be able to see live demos to find out how the Alliance has developed since it was founded in April 2019.

Kuka will be there as one of the founding members. Each member plays its part in making it easier for end users to network their production. The aim is to make the members' network of expertise visible at the trade fair stands: from hardware components, edge connectivity and computing to clouds and services. Each Alliance partner has committed to contributing its technical core competencies in such a way that operators and end users benefit from an overall solution - the Alliance's Interoperability Framework. The focus is always on secure and simple data exchange between the partners. The Open Industry 4.0 Alliance aims for up to 80 percent of the machines in a smart factory to be able to communicate with each other. The aim is to overcome proprietary isolated solutions in order to give a decisive boost to the end-to-end digital transformation in industry. as
