Legi-Air 6000

Get it on quickly

In the mail order business, cartons need to be labeled quickly and reliably. The high-performance Legi-Air 6000 labeler from Bluhm Systeme is ideal for this.

It precisely processes cartons of different heights as they pass through: up to 2,250 cycles per hour with a DIN A6 label format and a product height difference of 500 millimetres. The machine achieves such top performance with a servomotor-driven dispensing applicator: after a sensor has determined the height of the incoming product to be labeled in advance, the applicator moves into the correct position. This shortens the travel distance during the labeling process; at the same time, the pressure dispenser labels more accurately and up to 50 percent faster than a labeler with a pneumatically operated cylinder. This is supported by the lightweight construction with carbon fiber components for the moving parts. The applicator is around 80 percent lighter than a conventional model. The dispensing applicator is moved without compressed air; compressed air is only used to apply the label using the tamp-blow method. pb
