Labeling in the switch cabinet
Labeling heat shrink tubing
Many electricians are familiar with the fact that there is often no suitable product available from specialist retailers for electrical installations. Creativity is then required.
Heat-shrink tubing plays an important role in securely enclosing wires and cables, protecting them from dust, keeping them in shape and coding them with the right color. Until now, direct labeling was difficult, but Brother offers the right solution with its printable shrink sleeves from the Pro-Tape series. They contract when heated and enclose cables and wires tightly. The electrical trade in particular benefits from the shrink sleeves. They are compact and prevent annoying cable flags in the switch cabinet. Heat-shrink tubing can simply be pushed over connectors, which is important when labeling pre-assembled patch cables, for example.
