Increase picking quality by up to 20 percent
The pick-by-vision provider Picavi offers a user interface to optimize order picking. This also includes the visualization of the articles on the display of the data glasses, which leads to increases in picking quality of up to 20 percent. One of the biggest challenges in logistics centers is to reliably maintain a high level of picking quality in addition to high productivity.
Picking errors occur time and again, especially with items that are difficult to distinguish, such as small products. Picavi has therefore integrated visualization of the articles into its process to reduce the error rate during picking. Once the worker has arrived at the correct storage location, the correct product and the quantity to be picked are displayed on the data glasses. This significantly increases process reliability and therefore picking quality. The system is already being used successfully in numerous logistics centers.
