Automatic component labeling
Equipment labeling made easy
Weidmüller's Workplace Solution business unit offers solutions and products that optimize work processes along the customer's value chain.
These are essentially the assembly of the mounting rail, the cable assembly and the labeling of the components and control cabinet. Weidmüller provides fast, reliable and consistent marking systems for this purpose under the MultiMark and MultiCard names. Insert labels, labels or shrink sleeves can be marked quickly and individually using the modular thermal transfer printers in the MultiMark series and the M-Print Pro configuration software. From one-off productions to large print quantities, markings of all kinds can be created extremely economically and without compromising on quality - easily legible and resistant to environmental influences. Many mounting rail components are already equipped with holders into which markers or signs can simply be clipped or snapped.
But no enclosure manufacturer can do without the universal use of self-adhesive labels. THM printers can be used to create self-adhesive labels for devices and components. This ensures clear, structured, unambiguous and legible labeling and the associated uniform appearance.
However, one problem remains: In contrast to the snap-on markers, labels
labels have to be manually removed from the carrier film and applied to the
components. Ideally, a pair of tweezers should be
at hand. However, this is usually done "by hand" in the literal sense of the word or with
a misused screwdriver. The work is laborious
and time-consuming, but the result is not always convincing. Often
The label is often crooked, creased or protrudes beyond the edge of the appliance.
As a sustainable solution to this problem, Weidmüller has developed the THM
MultiMark LPC (Labeling Processing Center) for automatic component
component labeling. With this unique system
equipment labels are immediately positioned correctly,
printed and applied. The new high-performance applicator automatically lifts the
