Marking solutions for Logistics 4.0. AutoID technologies are becoming increasingly important in modern industrial production, as they enable raw materials, products and packaging to control their own intralogistics routes from production to shipping preparation. Bluhm Systeme presents identification solutions for logistics.

Labeling with barcode and/or shipping labels is performed by high-performance labelers such as the Legi-Air systems: With 2,250 cycles per hour, the Legi-Air 6000 labels cartons of different heights with above-average speed and precision. It owes this high speed to the servo-electric drive and the lightweight design of its applicator. Its modular design also makes it easy to integrate into production environments. With the Legi-Air 4050 P, Bluhm Systeme is presenting a modular pallet labeler for labeling at a standstill or in throughfeed without pallet stop. The system offers many advantages in terms of speed, safety, application options, size and ease of servicing.

Logistically relevant markings can also be applied using inkjet printers. The high-performance X4JET plus touch print controller prints on boxes and trays in small and large characters, for example. Font heights of less than one millimetre up to 400 millimetres and a print resolution of up to 600 dpi can be achieved depending on the printing technology. The device can centrally control printing technologies from four different ink manufacturers and simultaneously mark primary and secondary packaging.

An intelligent system for central ink supply (ZTV) is particularly suitable for applications with high ink consumption. Thanks to a tank capacity of 400 milliliters, frequent ink tank changes are no longer necessary. The supply tank and cartridges interact via smart card technology: the cartridges report their ink level to the ink system in real time and are automatically refilled during the printing process. As the regulation takes place via pressure, the mounting height of the tank system is variable.

The Linx 8900 continuous inkjet printer prints up to three lines on plastic, metal, glass or lacquered cardboard. With many practical functions and features such as long print head cleaning and maintenance intervals, touchscreen and production throughput display, it increases production time and makes work easier. pb
