8 and 10 kW models: Efficient solutions for users

Eaton releases two new models in the 93PS UPS range. The 93PS is Eaton's most advanced three-phase UPS and is designed to provide high availability and low cost of ownership for server rooms and mission-critical IT applications such as hospitals, commercial buildings and manufacturing equipment.

The expansion of the range for smaller capacities enables IT experts to choose the optimum UPS depending on their requirements, either in a modular or monobloc version. This helps to reduce device and energy costs and allows for more flexible system management. The new models will be available from the end of Q3 2017. The 8 and 10 kW models have been specially developed for applications with comparatively low energy requirements. Until now, customers often had to buy oversized devices in order to obtain the full range of functions and the required availability. The new 93PS models, on the other hand, have the same technical specifications as models with higher power, but are less expensive. They are available in a monobloc design that offers the smallest footprint in its class. The 93PS range is equipped with market-leading technologies from Eaton to provide the lowest total cost of ownership. The 93PS has an efficiency of over 96 percent and a payback period of less than 1.5 years compared to other, less efficient models. sw
