Measurement technology with radar

At SPS IPC Drives in Nuremberg, Endress+Hauser presented a device line for flow measurement as well as its device portfolio for level measurement with radar. According to the manufacturer, the Proline 300/500 measuring device line stands for industry-optimized flow measurement technology with an extended range of applications.

The measuring devices have WLAN and process diagnostics parameters.

WLAN as well as device and process diagnostics parameters are designed to ensure a high level of process and product safety. The manufacturer also showcased its portfolio of radar measuring devices, including the Micropilot FMR60, FMR62 and FMR67. The series is the first 80 GHz radar developed in accordance with IEC 61508 and therefore meets the highest safety requirements. The company also presented a thermometer with self-calibrating sensor technology. The hygienic thermometer is intended for users in the food and life science industry who require full compliance with FDA and GMP regulations. The thermometer, which will be available shortly, offers permanent inline self-calibration and is designed to eliminate the risk of non-conformities during production. sw
