Precise cutting with robots
Precise cutting tasks can be carried out with Robocut wire EDM machines from Fanuc. The smaller Robocut α-C400iB is automated with a collaborative robot from Fanuc's CR series.
With the new iRVision technology, the robot is able to localize and identify the components to be processed. When the robot works with the machine for the first time, it is also able to localize the machine and adjust its positions. The α-C800iB with a 500-millimeter Z-stroke can be used, for example, in the production of an aerospace component. Functions such as the new AWF3 automatic wire threading system are used for automatic threading of the wire even under the most difficult conditions. as
