ATCs (Automatic Tool Changes) have long been established for milling machines, but not for lathes. This can now be implemented with the Solidpro. The quick-change system is a standardized interface and consists of a tool holder and collet system in the basic model. Depending on requirements, it can be individually converted to a tool holder with adapters. The tooling is available in two variants for static tools and four variants for driven tools. The adapters are equipped with HSK gripper grooves for operation by a robot. To change directly on the turret and to mechanically clamp or release the adapter, simply turn the actuating bolt on the tool holder by 90 degrees.
