Thanks to a calming chamfer on the flank face, the tool is supported during machining, which suppresses vibrations. The De-Vibe technology ensures very smooth running and enables usable lengths of up to 4×DN - ideal for small threads, long projections, unstable conditions or difficult materials. Because only one row of cutting edges is engaged at any one time, the displacement of the tool remains low and the thread therefore remains cylindrical. The moderate number of teeth also enables high feed rates, which minimizes wear. The substrate and coating also contribute to wear resistance. The milling cutter is suitable for all ISO materials up to 48 HRC.
