Spanflug is presenting new features of its manufacturing platform for CNC turned and milled parts at the AMB. The most important innovation is the integration of real-time data from semi-finished product suppliers into the platform.
Thanks to the cooperation with suppliers of preliminary products for component production, the algorithm can now access daily updated prices and availability from the connected partners.
For users from technical purchasing who upload CAD models of required components to the Spanflug store, price calculations and delivery time calculations are now even more precise thanks to access to this real-time data. The new connection also offers attractive added value for manufacturing companies. When accepting orders in the Spanflug supplier portal, manufacturing companies benefit from good purchasing conditions for semi-finished products. Users of the calculation solution also have access to the latest semi-finished product information. They can also order bars, tubes and sheets directly via Spanflug if required.
Spanflug is in talks with further suppliers in order to be able to underpin its entire material range of over 50 materials with real-time data in the future. By connecting semi-finished product suppliers, Spanflug is integrating a further step in the supply chain into its manufacturing platform. The technology provider is thus demonstrating how users can use real-time information to make lean, digital procurement processes even more efficient. Spanflug will be presenting the online store for purchasers of CNC milled and turned parts, the solutions for manufacturing companies and the latest platform enhancements at AMB.
