The 300 hp power skiving machine from Gleason is suitable for soft and hard fine machining of cylindrical internal and external gears.
Presented at EMO Hannover, the 300PS is now available with an integrated tool resharpening unit for straight and helical tools. The resharpening unit enables continuous gear production without frequent tool changes while maintaining consistently high quality. This also significantly reduces the tool costs per workpiece and the tool inventory. The power skiving machine is "closed loop" capable and can be connected directly to Gleason 's GMS gear measuring systems. This enables seamless data transfer and automatic corrections.
