Milling center for 5-sided machining

Together with its Italian subsidiary Emco Famup, Emco has developed a new vertical milling machine for the Maxxmill series. The Maxxmill 750 has been designed for 5-sided machining of workpieces measuring up to 530 mm × 530 mm × 417 mm and 500 kg in a single clamping operation.

Features include travel ranges of 750 mm/610 mm/500 mm (X/Y/Z), 45 mm roller guides on the X and Y axes and a direct drive on the Z axis. A spindle with a maximum speed of 12,000 rpm, a spindle power of 15 kW and a torque of 100 Nm and a water-cooled motor spindle with a maximum speed of 15,000 rpm, a spindle power of 20 kW and a torque of 100 Nm are available. The standard tool magazine with 30 pockets can be extended by a tool drum with 40 or 60 tool stations. The user can choose between Heidenhain and Siemens controls.
