Vollmer has designed the VGrind 360 grinding machine for machining carbide tools such as drills, milling cutters or reamers in a single clamping operation.

The Vollmer grinding machine is available in two versions: with two vertically arranged spindles for grinding wheel packs or with one grinding wheel spindle and one high-frequency spindle with an automatic tool changer. The HF spindle can be used to grind pocket seats for PCD (polycrystalline diamond) plates. A roughening unit for automatic opening of the abrasive layer is available as an option.

The company offers the entry-level model of the grinding machine, the VGrind 360E, especially for service companies and small tool manufacturers.
