According to Fraisa, machining times for finishing operations can be reduced by up to 90 percent on 5-axis machining centers while maintaining the same surface characteristics.

Crowned cutting edges with large radii produce high surface qualities in tight tolerances on side, bottom or radius surfaces in deep cavities. The cutting data can be called up in ToolExpert for CAM. The new circular arc milling cutters can be seen at the AMB in Stuttgart: Hall 3, Stand B30.
