Carbide milling cutters for micro cutting
Micro is the name of Franken's range of milling cutters specially developed for micro-machining. The shank, ball and torus milling cutters in various sizes are suitable for machining the smallest engravings, electrodes or components.
The carbide milling cutters are available from stock in cutting diameters of 0.2 to 2 mm and, with their neck lengths of 2.2, 5 or 10 times the cutting diameter, are also suitable for machining deep cavities. The ball nose and torus milling cutters are also available as CBN versions for machining hardened materials up to 66 HRC. All carbide micro milling cutters are provided with a newly developed green LCR coating, the smooth surface of which serves as wear protection and thus contributes to a longer tool life. ag
