With the Mill-Assist Essential from Robojob, Hommel also offers an extension. The UX 500 can be automated from one operating side, while the operator can intervene in the machine from the second side. The machine has X/Y/Z travel of 712/508/515 millimetres and a swing circle diameter of 500 millimetres. Together with the integrated rotary/swivel table, the machining center is suitable for workpiece sizes up to 500 x 350 millimetres. The compact design of 2,700 by 3,300 millimetres, including the integrated chip conveyor, makes the machine suitable for small areas.
