Walter offers three Tiger-tec Gold grades specifically for turning operations.
With the WPP10G for continuous cutting and light cutting interruptions, the universal grade WPP20G and the tough grade WPP30G for cutting interruptions and unfavorable machining conditions, Walter offers three Tiger-tec Gold grades specifically for turning operations.
The already introduced indexable inserts with a double-sided negative basic shape are now joined by the positive inserts CCMT, DCGT as well as negative, single-sided inserts CNMM, SNMM and WL25 copy turning inserts. They expand the portfolio with three cutting materials to 21 geometries - including special geometries with improved chip breaking and for roughing large forgings. Multi-stage post-treatment produces a very smooth cutting surface.
