Zimmer wins second German Brand Award
Zimmer can look forward to another award in its collection of brand and design prizes. As of this month, the company is the proud winner of the German Brand Award 2020.
After Zimmer received the German Brand Award for the first time last year, the Rheinau-based technology company has now won this award for the second time in a row, joining the ranks of award-winning companies such as Vodafone, Bauhaus, Barmenia and alverde. The German Brand Award is the award for successful brand management in Germany. It discovers, presents and honors unique brands and brand makers. Only companies that have been nominated by the German Brand Institute, its expert committees or brand scouts can take part.
Winner in the "Industry, Machines and Engineering" category
The expert panel of the German Brand Institute selected the "Zimmer GmbH" brand as the "Winner" of the German Brand Awards 2020 in the "Industry, Machines and Engineering" category of the "Excellent Brands" competition class for its brand concept and outstanding brand management. In its verdict, the jury commented on its website as follows: "The Zimmer Group brand with its claim 'The Know-how Factory' stands for innovative strength, credibility and sustainability. The campaign 'Don't just be a tool. Love your job.' counteracts the seriousness of the mechanical engineering industry and conveys the brand's self-image as a young and dynamic employer. This creates an unmistakable brand world through the interplay of all brand-defining elements."
There was no glittering awards ceremony this year due to the coronavirus, but there were many beaming winners. "The German Brand Award is probably the most important award for successful brand management in Germany. We are delighted to receive this fantastic award," says Marcel Pfeiffer, Head of Design & Brand at Zimmer. as
