The Piab Pilift Smart is an Industry 4.0-capable vacuum lifter with integrated smart data functions. The vacuum lifter can simultaneously lift and weigh loads as well as collect and log data so that process statistics and analyses are immediately available to the user.
The data management functions also allow the lift to tell the operator when maintenance or cleaning work is required. The system controls the pump and valves and only supplies power when needed, which, according to the manufacturer, results in a 76 percent reduction in energy consumption. The Pilift Smart can handle objects weighing up to 40 kilograms. It can be used for loading and unloading parcels and boxes from transport pallets, as well as for lifting, moving and emptying bulk containers. as
