Suction cups for film packaging
SMC has developed the ZP3P-JT vacuum cup with bellows for the gentle pick-up and transportation of film-wrapped goods.
It adapts to the variable shape of soft films thanks to a sealing sleeve. Specially shaped ribs under the sealing sleeve are designed to reduce leakage between the suction cup and the product, which contributes to safe and fast transportation with an acceleration of up to 4 G. With its folds, the ZP3P-JT can compensate for different heights and angles, for example with soft film packaging. This means that even differently shaped packaging can be sucked in and transported without damaging the packaging or the contents. Available in diameters of 20, 25, 32, 40 and 50 millimetres, the vacuum cup stands out thanks to its blue color: it is designed to ensure that contamination caused by detached rubber particles can be easily detected during visual inspections. Only materials that comply with the globally recognized FDA guideline 21 CFR §177 are used for the suction cup and guide. This means that the ZP3P-JT series can be used in numerous applications in the food industry as well as in medical technology and the pharmaceutical industry. as
