Palletizing system

When it has to be clean

Solutions for handling. From servo presses to palletizing systems for production under cleanroom conditions: IEF-Werner shows solutions with which companies can design handling processes economically and safely.

In traditional mechanical engineering, users are increasingly confronted with the requirements of purity-compliant production. This requires the use of high-precision processes on largely automated systems. IEF-Werner has developed the Variostack CF "Clean Factory", a compact palletizer concept based on the Variostack palletizing system, for such special production environments. The main focus here was on low particle emissions and easy cleaning with consistently short cycle times and high reliability.

IEF-Werner will also be presenting the successful aiPress servo press series at Automatica. The systems have a flexible design and can be integrated into automated production lines as well as manual workstations. During the pressing/joining process, kinematics built on a solid "C-frame" ensure micrometer-precise positioning of the press quill with simultaneous force monitoring.

IEF-Werner has various drive systems in its range for fast and fully automatic pick & place tasks. Designers have the choice between simple linear units for attachment to their own motors through to multi-axis, fully assembled positioning systems. This also includes the toothed belt axis of the 160/15 G series, which is equipped with two independently movable carriages. As both traversing units are located on one axis, a fast and compact system can be implemented.

If high demands are placed on compactness, dynamics, speed, positioning accuracy and repeatability, direct drives have advantages. The automation specialist will be showcasing a fast and precise solution in Munich with its Euroline series. Because the units integrate a linear motor, a position measuring system and a guide, the user receives a ready-to-install system that requires little effort in terms of design and assembly. Several independent carriages can even be mounted on one guide, allowing space-saving systems to be realized.

With the Domiline adjustment unit, IEF-Werner will be showing visitors an adjustment slide that can be used to position measuring systems as required. The adjustment unit has a modular design and is easy to set up and convert. In order to move the slide even more precisely and use the system even more easily, the automation specialist has developed accessories - such as the rotary adjuster type MDV for manual operation. This can be mounted on the carriage and is ideal for optimally positioning a camera system, for example. A high-quality worm gear generates the rotary movements. The rotary stage has a quick adjustment of the plate as well as a fine adjustment and a clamping mechanism. as
