Grinding machine for hydraulic parts
Machine tool manufacturer Danobat has developed the LG grinding machine, which will be on show at Intec. The series was developed for the production of technically highly complex workpieces such as hydraulic precision parts, automotive components, cutting tools and cams or parts with eccentric diameters.
It has a machine bed made of natural granite, linear motors and integrated glass scales. The grinding headstock with cooled electrospindles achieves maximum peripheral speeds of 120 meters per second. This covers both the speed range required for processing with conventional abrasives (45 to 60 meters per second) and that for special abrasives (20 to 120 meters per second) with maximum torque.
The manufacturer also points out the versatility of the B-axis. It is equipped with several grinding wheels and can also accommodate various accessories, such as measuring devices or super-finishing devices. The B-axis is driven by an integrated motor, which ensures high positioning accuracy. In addition, the sanding machine offers control devices - during and after processing - to guarantee optimum results. as
