Franziska Kunz
Kistler appoints Head of Global Sustainability
The Kistler Group is realigning its sustainability strategy: Franziska Kunz has been appointed to the newly created position of Head of Global ESG and Sustainability. With this appointment, the company aims to strengthen its ESG activities.
The former head of the Meerane site and former Sustainability & CSR Manager of the Kistler Group brings 19 years of experience in the company and expertise in the field of sustainability. Among other things, Franziska Kunz intends to further develop the company-wide ESG strategy, expand circular economy projects and focus more strongly on Scope 3 emissions. A new cross-divisional team and a central ESG contact point will support employees and customers with sustainability issues in future.
The Kistler Group is already pursuing concrete measures: CO₂ emissions (Scope 1 and 2) were reduced by 4.6% in 2024, and two sites in Germany produce using photovoltaics. The electrification of the vehicle fleet is also being driven forward internationally.
Kistler sees sustainability as a strategic success factor - both in its own production and through the development of resource-saving measurement technology for customers in a wide range of industries.
