Lifting aid with brains

To move heavy loads more efficiently, Scaglia Indeva has further developed the Liftronic auxiliary device. The Liftronic Easy-6 is intuitive to operate, offers flexibility thanks to its modular design and is suitable for production thanks to its robust control unit.

Compared to chain hoists or pneumatic handling devices, the Liftronic Easy enables higher speeds, more precise positioning and more ergonomic operation. The system reacts to the employee's touch and moves immediately and effortlessly in the required direction. Scaglia Indeva has now further developed this solution and is presenting it for the first time at Motek.

The solution should now be even easier for users to handle. Among other things, they benefit from an improved operating unit with a latest-generation touchscreen. This makes it easy to set operating parameters and, if required, the operator can expand the control unit with pushbuttons for additional functions.

The modular design also ensures greater flexibility. Among other things, the operator can change servo operating handles quickly and easily without having to replace the entire tool head. With the I-Connect interface module, which can be attached quickly, specially developed gripping tools can also be connected and integrated into the system control.

Scaglia Indeva also points to a high level of manufacturing suitability. The operating unit is robust and impact-resistant and therefore protected against external influences. To increase operating safety, the supplier can equip the system with the dead man's function on request: If the operator's hand leaves the handle, all axes are frozen in their current position. An unobstructed view of the workpiece ensures even greater safety. Scaglia has routed electrical and pneumatic lines to the inside for this purpose.

Characteristic of this series: the intelligent auxiliary device is equipped with automatic weight detection and an autobalancing device - i.e. load detection and load balancing. In contrast to conventional devices, which are only configured for one or two different weights, the solution adapts automatically to any weight class. The operator handles completely different loads without having to set up the system each time. Liftronic Easy is available in different versions: as a column-mounted or ceiling-mounted version and as a slewing jib crane with or without an articulated arm. as
