The two newcomers
Roteg has launched two new gripper systems: a gripper for bags and a vacuum gripper for palletizing cartons. The two in-house gripping systems are both models of the latest generation.
While the suction gripper is used in many industries, the bag gripper is more specialized. Thanks to its grippers, which move on a circular path, the system can create an orderly layer pattern. The tines of the gripper plunge into the spaces between the rollers on which the bag to be palletized lies. This allows them to grip the product securely. As the gripper tongs open on the circular path described, they protect adjacent products and the entire load when depositing. In addition, everything that previously ran on chains in the new model now runs on gear wheels. as
