The system enables complete machining of large and heavy workpieces from five sides without interfering edges. The clamping system is also suitable for clamping workpieces that are larger than one meter. The modular design enables efficient and collision-free machining of workpieces with reduced set-up times. Kipp emphasizes that handling is simple and ensures quick changeovers when the machine is heavily used.

The workpiece is secured variably via a thread and a fit. This product is therefore a fully-fledged, mechanical zero-point clamping system with maximum repeat accuracy. The new size 138 is compatible with the previous sizes 50 and 80 millimetres and can be used universally. The XXL version allows fastening up to thread M 60. The maximum support weight for the individual base module is ten tons. The workpiece is positively connected to the system. pb
