The parallel grippers are used in particular where precise insertion and gripping is required. The double-acting PGR-P can be used as external or internal grippers. Depending on the respective jaw geometry and position, the grippers have a closing force of 70 to 310 N or an opening force of 80 to 340 N.

The PGR-P is equipped with adapter jaws. These are, for example, individually 3D-printed contours or base jaws GB PGR. The gripper jaws, which are adapted to the specific component, enable maximum flexibility in terms of possible applications. In addition to the individual contours, the contact surfaces for sensitive components can also be provided with an EP coating or flock.

The specially designed drive technology of an oval piston not only has a positive effect on the gripping force, but also minimizes interfering contours. The resilient and low-backlash T-slot guide ensures safe and precise handling with high load ratings and a long service life.

A variety of adaptation points allow the compact gripper to be mounted flexibly and easily. An integrated permanent magnet and C-slots enable piston sensing. As an option, the gripper jaws can be queried using induction sensors, and part presence monitoring is possible. A high range of temperature resistance, centering options for the gripper jaws and a hose-free direct connection round off the product features of the parallel gripper.
