Data path in sheet metal processing

Lantek, multinational specialist for CAD/CAM/MES/ERP software solutions and the digital transformation of sheet metal processing, will round off its appearance at the 14th Blechexpo with a presentation on the importance of data in sheet metal processing.

Under the title "The path of data in sheet metal processing", Javier Román, Product Manager at Lantek, will talk about the value of data for the industry and explain the various sources, the handling of data and how it can be used for decision-making processes or the automation of industrial processes.

"The Data Quality Report is of fundamental importance for data management and for companies that want to go down the path of digital transformation and optimize their processes through data. It measures the quality, validity, consistency, representativeness, uniqueness and completeness of the data. People also play a key role in ensuring data quality. This has already given rise to a new job description: the Chief Data Officer (CDO), who is responsible for everything to do with this data," says Román, giving an insight into his presentation in advance.

The lecture begins on Wednesday, November 6, at 2:20 p.m. in the Exhibitor Forum at the trade fair, Hall 9, Stand 9310.

At Blechexpo 2019, Lantek will be presenting the latest software developments for advanced manufacturing based on the Lantek 360 cloud platform to trade fair visitors. Special focus will be on the Lantek Analytics, Control Panel, iQuoting and MetalShop solutions.
