Which products will Trumpf be highlighting at this year's Blechexpo?

Our focus is on bending solutions. For example, we will be showcasing the new generation of our TruBend 3000 bending machine, which has been completely redesigned and offers an impressive combination of productivity, precision and energy efficiency. With up to 40 percent shorter throughput times compared to the previous model and a parts accuracy that is unparalleled in this price class, we are setting new standards. Our presence at the trade fair will be complemented by the TruBend 7050 with the mobile robot cell Flex Cell, which enables simple automation - ideal for companies with frequently changing components and small batch sizes.

What role do automation and digitalization play in your products, and is there a focus on sustainable solutions?

Automation and digitalization are key components of our product strategy. The new TruBend 3000, for example, is equipped with the ACB Laser automatic angle measuring system, which guarantees the highest part quality from the very first component. Our TecZone Bend software enables simple programming directly on the machine - even without prior knowledge.

Sustainability also plays a major role: the on-demand servo drive reduces energy consumption by up to 30 percent compared to conventional hydraulic drives. We also offer digital services such as condition monitoring and remote control, which minimize downtimes and conserve resources.

Which innovations in sheet metal processing will be the focus in 2025 and 2026?

We focus on intelligent production systems that combine individual machines with the advantages of line production. At Blechexpo, we will be presenting a highly productive system that is indirectly interlinked via a Stopa bearing. This allows both individual parts and large quantities to be produced economically. We are also driving forward the integration of AI-supported robotics, such as the Flex Cell, which programs itself as soon as CAD data is uploaded - a real game changer for the industry.

What trends do you currently see in sheet metal processing, and how is Trumpf adapting its product portfolio to them?

The trend is clearly moving towards flexibility, digital networking, automation and energy efficiency. Companies need to be able to react more quickly to changing requirements while at the same time facing cost pressure. Our solutions - from the TruBend 3000 to the Flex Cell and networked production systems - are designed with this in mind. We offer machines that are intuitive to operate, can be seamlessly integrated into digital processes and at the same time guarantee maximum safety and sustainability.
