Schukat and Vogt celebrate the anniversary of their distribution partnership
What began with small quantities and a narrow product range has grown into a trusting partnership with several thousand assembly parts, PCB and cable contacts. The distributor Schukat electronic has now been selling Vogt Verbindungstechnik connectors for 20 years.
Both family businesses were founded in the early 1960s and have since been handed over to the second generation. The cooperation that has grown over the years has led to successful market and customer development. Developers benefit from the cooperation through fast delivery of components in small or large quantities, which Schukat distributes directly from stock in Germany.
"Our companies complement each other perfectly, so that customers gain many advantages. We offer a broad and high-quality range of electrical products and Schukat has many years of experience in international sales for large and small customers," says Thomas Hereth, Head of Sales at Vogt.
"As a distributor, we benefit from Vogt's versatile manufacturing know-how and technical solution expertise in the area of individual solutions. This enables us to offer project customers stamped, tube and wire parts tailored to their specific needs. Hybrid parts from plastic injection molding are now also an integral part of Vogt's range," adds Bert Schukat, Managing Director of Schukat electronic.
With the automatic exchange of orders (EDI) and the continuous expansion of the product range, both companies have already set the course for the future. Thanks to these improvements, the partners will be able to respond to customer requests even faster in future.
