Mechanical and plant engineering is an important core market for the company, where industrial communication and automation are among the greatest challenges. Lapp is showcasing several innovative approaches for industrial transformation: Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) is revolutionizing factory networking. The technology enables a cost-effective and space-saving solution for seamless Industry 4.0 communication and is almost as powerful as Multi Pair Ethernet. In addition, SPE enables greater distances, is more compact and requires less installation effort.

Lapp is a SPE pioneer and already has cable variants in its portfolio. The company will be showcasing several innovative product and service solutions in the FutureLab at its stand. For example, zeroCM technology, which is a special stranding technique that virtually eliminates electromagnetic interference within connection solutions - and thus ensures permanent network stability. With the Network Approval Service, users can have the entire condition of a machine network checked for robustness.
