Measure, analyze and reduce energy consumption

Measuring the actual energy consumption of electrical devices is the first step towards optimizing consumption values and reducing energy costs. The Voltcraft SEM5000 was developed for this purpose and is now available from Conrad Electronic.

The device does not require Bluetooth or WLAN, but works as a stand-alone device and therefore cannot be misused as a loophole for unauthorized data transfer or malware. The Voltcraft SEM5000 is simply placed between the socket and the load to measure voltage, current, energy consumption, frequency and power factor. All data can be called up directly on the display. The CSV data is evaluated and further processed on the work computer, for example in the form of diagrams. If the current electricity tariff is also stored in the SEM5000, the actual energy costs are displayed in the selected currency.
