Connector systems for wiring servo drives
Round connector systems with quick-release fasteners are becoming increasingly popular for wiring servo drives. Plug it in, turn the housing a quarter turn to the right and you're done. What users like less is that this connector standard is only available from a few manufacturers - until now.
With the Epic Power LS1 Twist, there is now an alternative. Lapp has developed a particularly handy and robust locking mechanism for this purpose. It is compatible with the market standard and enables simple connection. Both connector halves are securely locked even in the event of vibration, and the EMC design prevents electromagnetic pulses resulting from high currents from penetrating to the outside. Circular connectors for power transmission are used on robots and in mechanical engineering, but also in wind turbines and in other applications where a high-performance connector system with small dimensions is required.
The Twist connector is available in all standard pole configurations. It complements the LS1 power connector portfolio and will be available from December.
