Compact with high protection class
Schurter is expanding its MCS series of short-stroke styli with a robust 16 mm version.
The MCS 16 is recommended where a low installation depth and high robustness are required. The customer can choose between an actuator made of die-cast zinc or stainless steel. The stainless steel version offers the option of individual laser marking. The housing is always made of die-cast zinc.
Both the die-cast zinc and stainless steel actuators are also available with spot lighting in red or green. Other colors are available on request. The push-button has an IP protection rating of IP67 and an impact resistance rating of IK06. The robust housing front offers protection against vandalism, extreme environmental conditions and harsh industrial environments. Pins for PCB mounting are available as well as pins with a soldering aid for direct connection of a cable.
