Models for different hand sizes and grip styles

3Dconnexion is completing its range of standard mice from the CadMouse product line with three new models. From the compact, wireless mouse to the high-end mouse for power users, models are now available for a wide range of requirements.

The three new launches are designed to meet different user needs. They fit different hand sizes and grip styles and offer special application functions for all common CAD and 3D software applications.

3Dconnexion has made improvements to the design and software of the three new models - CadMouse Compact, CadMouse Compact Wireless and CadMouse Pro. For example, despite its small size, a dedicated middle mouse button has been introduced on the CadMouse Compact, which is used intensively in the 3D environment. Compared to a standard mouse, which requires a middle mouse click with the scroll wheel, a dedicated middle mouse button is particularly advantageous from an ergonomic point of view: the force required to press it is significantly lower, which minimizes the strain on the fingers and hand.

The CadMouse Compact and CadMouse Compact Wireless models are designed for users who are often on the move and want to be flexible. The two mice with a handy, compact housing are extremely light and ideally suited for anyone who prefers a compact mouse model due to their hand size and grip style.

The CadMouse Pro is a wired full-size mouse that has been specially developed for power users and offers maximum comfort on long working days. It is characterized above all by an innovative button design. It consists of specially contoured and positioned buttons and a special joint design that increases both the precision and responsiveness of clicks.

The new mice are equipped with the advanced "Smart Mouse Wheel 2". It enables even finer and more precise control when scrolling. The SmartScroll function offers activity-based scroll modes that automatically adapt the scrolling behavior to the respective application. The tick-to-tick function, which is important for CAD applications, enables models and drawings to be zoomed in and out with high precision. In browsers or documents, the SmoothScroll function ensures reliable and consistent scrolling after the first gesture movement.

"3Dconnexion manufactures advanced, precise and easy-to-use peripherals for architects, designers and engineers. Our products help users in a wide range of industries to create complex designs more efficiently," explains Antonio Pascucci, CEO of 3Dconnexion. "Our new CadMouse models are also part of this tradition. Despite the different sizes, we have succeeded in maintaining the precise control of the mice at a high level, which guarantees a fluid and unique CAD experience - for a wide range of user types."
