Werma opens branch in Italy

In March, signaling device manufacturer Werma strengthened its presence in the Italian market with the establishment of the subsidiary "Werma Italia S.r.l." based in Piacenza.

Nicola Savio (Direttore Generale WERMA Italia Srl)

Nicola Savio is the manager of the newest Werma branch and is looking forward to the new challenge: "The name Werma is already a household name in Italy and stands for quality, innovation and user-friendly products. I'm really looking forward to raising the company's profile further and presenting the great, innovative products to my customers." The electrical engineering graduate has many years of diverse sales experience in a wide range of industries - in addition to mechanical engineering, he has also worked in the automotive, electrical engineering and automation sectors.

With the establishment of its latest subsidiary, Werma is creating the basis for continued growth in the Italian sales region. Werma Managing Director Matthias Marquardt says: "The Italian market has developed very positively and is one of the core markets for mechanical engineering. This is why we are now creating the basic conditions for further growth with our own branch." The location was chosen in the greater Milan area, where many well-known mechanical engineering and automotive supply companies are based. He adds: "Thanks to this investment, we can continue to offer our new and existing customers our reliable, efficient sales and consulting service."
