Three design awards for Ganter
Industrial design optimizes both ergonomics and functionality, as Ganter demonstrates with its GN 126 adjustable flat clamping levers and the GN 328 and GN 428 bow and machine handles.
The fact that the company, together with the design agency Corpus-C from Fürth, is on the right design path is underlined by the latest awards from two independent juries: the iF International Forum Design jury presented the GN 328 and GN 428 bow and machine handles and the GN 126 flat clamping lever with one award each. The first-mentioned bow and machine handles also received the coveted Red Dot Award from the jurors.
Thanks to the modern design language, the standard elements fit in with the appearance of modern machines and systems. This means that details such as handles and levers can be implemented at the same high design level as the machine itself, regardless of the batch size. The option of easily and cost-effectively customizing sizes or colors further expands the range of possible applications. Recessed grips on the inside and precisely rounded edges ensure noticeably better ergonomics.
The adjustable flat clamping levers GN 126 are characterized by their dynamic shape, produced by zinc die-casting and finished with a plastic coating, they are ideal for use wherever the swivel ranges are limited. The integrated serration allows the position of the handle to be adjusted without having to loosen it. If required, the identically shaped GN 126.1 is available with an interior made entirely of stainless steel.
The GN 328 and GN 428 bow and machine handles are made of cast aluminum or bent aluminum profile and are also available in different surface finishes. For applications in particularly corrosive environments, the bow-type handles under GN 328.5 are also available in stainless A4 stainless steel investment casting. kp
