In 2021, the automation trade fair shocked the industry with a cancellation at short notice due to the coronavirus; in 2022, the trade fair world is back in order in Nuremberg.

Over 1000 exhibitors, around 30 percent of whom are from abroad, are on board. This means that the exhibition grounds are not fully occupied, but this is hardly noticeable when walking around the trade fair. In any case, the visitor response on the first day is obviously very good.

Range of topics Automation

Visitors to the trade fair can expect solutions from all areas of automation: from drive and control technology, sensors, power supply and mechanical infrastructure to software and IT in production. In addition to large companies such as Siemens, Phoenix Contact, Rittal, Beckhoff and Bosch Rexroth, numerous specialized medium-sized companies and innovative start-ups will be presenting their products and services to the entire industry.

In addition, interested visitors can look forward to a lecture program at the trade fair forum in Hall 5 and the Technology Stage powered by VDMA/ZVEI in Hall 3, where product innovations will be presented at the trade fair forum and the Technology Stage will focus on specialist lectures and panel discussions on current issues in automation.

This year's fair runs from November 8 to 10.
