This year, the trade fair will once again be accompanied by two specialist conferences: The 19th ITG/GMA Symposium "Sensors and Measurement Systems" is jointly sponsored by the Informationstechnische Gesellschaft im VDE (ITG) and the VDI/VDE-Gesellschaft Mess- und Automatisierungstechnik (GMA) and is organized by the ITG on a rotational basis this year.

For the third time, after 2014 and 2016, the European Society of Telemetry is organizing the European Test and Telemetry Conference - ettc2018 in cooperation with Sensor+Test in Nuremberg. The ettc2018 - with conference and accompanying exhibition - is the European platform for telemetry, test instrumentation and telecontrol.

Exhibitors will also be presenting their developments, products and possible applications at the specialist forums on all three days of the event. The current 55 selected presentations, including a special session on "Sensors and Measurement Technology in the Industrial Internet" on the first day of the trade fair, were reviewed in advance by a panel of experts in order to further increase the quality of the presentations and the benefits for visitors. The practical demonstrations and rides in instrumented test vehicles on the action area in the exhibition park are particularly attractive and popular with visitors: automotive testing can be experienced live. as
