Sick extends contract with CEO
The Supervisory Board of Sick has extended the contract of CEO Dr. Mats Gökstorp by 5 years. The company also announced that Feng Jiao has resigned from his position as Chief Sales Officer at his own request. Markus Scaglioso has been appointed to Sick's Management Board by the Supervisory Board and will take over the Sales & Service division.
The Supervisory Board of the international sensor company Sick has extended the contract of its CEO, Dr. Mats Gökstorp, by five years. The company is thus focusing on continuity and confirming the confidence in its successful work. Dr. Mats Gökstorp has been Chairman of the Management Board at Sick since 1 October 2021 and has been a member of the Management Board since 2013.

Feng Jiao hands over responsibility for the Management Board to Markus Scaglioso
At his own request, Feng Jiao, previously responsible for Sales & Service, will leave the Management Board on June 1, 2025. The engineering graduate joined the company back in 2014 and headed up the Group's sales activities on the Chinese market as Managing Director for Sick China. He was appointed to the Management Board in 2021. In his new role, Jiao will support the Management Board in particular in the strategic business development of the Chinese market.
Markus Scaglioso will take over as Chief Sales & Service Officer from June 1, 2025. The industrial engineering graduate was born in Ostfildern in 1974. He can look back on an 18-year career at Sick and brings a wealth of experience in various sales and marketing functions to his new role. With his extensive knowledge of industry-specific customer requirements, he will optimally align sales and service to the constantly changing needs of markets and customers.
